No multi-week commitments. Our core safety course is a single focused day.

03

Beginners Welcome

Half our students have never touched a firearm. That's not a problem — it's the point.

04

Beyond The Basics

Got your LTC? Good — now get proficient. Private sessions, S.W.A.T. training, executive consulting.

Questions

Straight Answers
About Training.

Do I need any experience to take the safety course?
None. The Basic Firearms Safety Course is designed for complete beginners. We start from zero and build up. That's the whole point.
What do I get after completing the course?
A certificate of completion issued the same day. This is the required document to apply for your Massachusetts LTC or FID card through your local police department.
What about the new H-4885 law changes?
Our courses are updated to reflect current Massachusetts legislation, including H-4885's enhanced training requirements, background check changes, and renewal procedures.
What's the difference between LTC and FID?
A License to Carry (LTC) allows you to purchase and carry handguns, rifles, shotguns, and ammunition. A Firearms Identification (FID) card allows you to purchase rifles, shotguns, and ammunition — but not handguns. Our Basic Safety Course qualifies you to apply for either.
Do I need to bring my own firearm to the class?
No. The Basic Firearms Safety Course is classroom-based. No firearms are needed and none should be brought. For private range lessons, we can provide firearms or you can bring your own (with valid LTC).
Can I book a private lesson before taking the safety course?
Private range lessons require a valid LTC or FID. If you don't have one yet, start with our Basic Safety Course — it's the first step. Once licensed, we'll get you on the range.
Is the S.W.A.T. training open to civilians?
Yes. S.W.A.T. training is available to any licensed individual with intermediate-level experience. It's advanced instruction, so we'll assess your readiness during intake. Contact us to discuss.
Do you offer group or corporate rates?
Yes, for both standard safety courses and advanced training. Group sessions can be customized to your organization's needs. Call or email for details and pricing.
